W.A.I.S.T.
Wrap Around Integrative Skills Training
A New Kind of Support for Your Metabolic Journey
Helping individuals using GLP-1 medications or other medical weight-loss treatments to build the emotional, behavioral, and lifestyle skills that medication alone can’t provide.
Our focus is on integration: Helping you align your thoughts, habits, relationships, and self-image with your physical transformation, while managing adverse side effects.
Why W.A.I.S.T. ?
Many people start medical weight loss feeling hopeful and motivated, and then discover new challenges:
Anxiety about maintaining results or “what comes next”
Disruptive emotions or coping habits that emerge when food is no longer a comfort
Shifts in relationship or identity as the body changes
Physical and emotional side effects of rapid change
The potential for existing psychiatric conditions and medications to interact with, or be affected by, the weight loss process
W.A.I.S.T. provides structured support to help you meet those moments with skill and self-understanding. We help you adjust your thoughts, feelings, and lifestyle alongside the changes that are happening in your body. Our W.A.I.S.T. team will work collaboratively with your medical providers to ensure every part of your care connects.

Group Session
Groups focus on common themes such as emotional regulation, body image, self-compassion, and maintaining healthy routines.
Participants often find that hearing others’ stories helps normalize challenges and strengthen motivation. You’ll learn practical coping skills, mindfulness strategies, ways to build balance and confidence as your body and life evolve, along with a community of others going through a similar journey.
Individual Session
One-on-one sessions focus on your personal journey with medical weight loss, exploring the emotional and behavioral patterns connected to food, body image, and change. Individual therapy will help you examine previously-held beliefs or traumas, and work towards a sense of balance in your life.
As progress unfolds, therapy helps you integrate physical change with emotional growth.
Psychiatric Consultation
Comprehensive evaluation and medication support when indicated. We will collaborate closely with your therapist and medical providers to ensure that emotional, behavioral, and physiological care align. Consultations may include medication assessment, ongoing management, or coordination with your prescribing physician
